Conférence invitée
Sebastien Celestin received the Ph.D. degree in Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris, France, in 2008. He was then appointed as a Post-Doctoral Scholar with The Pennsylvania State University, USA, and subsequently as a Research Associate, in 2011. He has been an Associate Professor in Physics with the LPC2E, University of Orléans, CNRS, since October 2012. His current research interests include Atmospheric and Space Electrodynamics. The talk will discuss recent advances in the fields of Terrestrial Gamma ray Flashes and Transient Luminous Events. These are electromagnetic manifestations of couplings between powerful electrical processes in the troposphere and upper layers of the atmosphere, up to space. |
